  • To Note: The number of members of the council that have been declared elected is equal or greater that 2/3 of the total number of members of the council. (7 elected out of 7 for HBPC). The Clerk holds the Certificate in Local Council Administration which includes the relevant training in the exercise of the general power.
  • TO RESOLVE: The Parish Council resolve to adopt the general power of competence having met the conditions of eligibility as defined in the Localism Act 2011 and SI 965, The Parish Councils (General Power of Competence)(Prescribed Conditions) Order 2012. (See appendix)
