RESOLVED: Apologies for absence were received from Cllr J O’Nians and absence was approved by the Parish Council

There were no declarations of disclosable pecuniary or personal interests.
2401_[4] Confirmation of Minutes
RESOLVED: The Parish Council meeting minutes of Thursday 9th November 2023 were confirmed as an accurate record and signed by Chairman.
REPORTS
2401_[5] Chairman’s Report
The Chairman reported on attendance of the police advisory board, including a change in leadership of the group and crime figures. It was noted that resident should report any crimes online so that police can use this data to direct resources. The Chairman reported on the poor state of Coley Hill and other roads in Hinton Blewett and would continue to pursue this with Dst Cllr David Wood.

- The Clerk reported on vehicle track damage to the Barbury
- Noted: correspondence shared with council members (see appendix)
2401_[7] Councillor Responsibilities and Meetings attended
- Noted: Cllr Young had reported flooding on the road to Bishop Sutton on Fix my Street.

- Apologies for absence were received from BANES District Cllr David Wood
2401_[9] FINANCE

- RESOLVED: payments to approve listed in finance report
- Noted: payments and Income listed in finance report
- Noted: bank reconciliation
- Noted: Year to date spend
- RESOLVED: The Parish Council approved employer pension contributions of 5.5% of gross salary.
- RESOLVED: The council approved a salary sacrifice scheme if requested by staff.
- RESOLVED: Approval of regular payment of pension contributions to HL by regular bank payment. A direct debit mandate was signed by two members.
2401_[10] BUDGET AND PRECEPT 2024-25
- RESOLVED: To set the budget for 2024-25 with budgeted expenditure of £13299
- RESOLVED: To set the precept for 2024-25 at £11458
2401_[11] PLANNING APPLICATIONS
RESOLVED: Application Reference: 23/04720/FUL
Application Address: Prospect Style Farm, Widcombe Hill, Hinton Blewett, Bristol, Bath And North East Somerset, BS39 5AS
Proposal: Erection of a single story timber wildlife hide.
Response: The Parish Council does not object or support this application. The Parish Council notes that the size and design is more in keeping with a holiday let or ancillary accommodation. The Parish Council would not support a change of use from a hide to develop this as domestic accommodation or a holiday let.
