Fwd: Notes of Meeting 31 of CVAF C&NEWG, future plans and useful information

Please find attached the meeting notes from  the CVAF C&NEWG on June 13th.

As you will see from the notes this was the final formal whole group meeting of the whole CVAF C&NEWG, but that the group will continue to exist as an umbrella for ongoing work in the Sustainable Transport Group until September and we will be writing 2 more pieces for the Earth Matters Column in the Chew Valley Gazette, in July and August.

In September we are planning an open meeting to celebrate the work of the group over the 3 years we have been in existence.  This will be on Tuesday 26th September exact time tbc but some time between 6-9 PLEASE SAVE THE DATE and we will be in touch with more information nearer the time.

It will also be an opportunity for networking about the Climate & Nature Emergency, and, a new Nature Protection group, incubated within this broad C&NEWG, will  present something about their future plans. The Sustainable Transport Group who are extremely active at the moment, need to decide over the Summer whether to close down or to find a new structure under which to continue. If you have an interest in wanting the work of the Sustainable Transport Group continue and are willing to be part of a potential new group please do get in touch.

We will send you an invitation and advertise the Celebration nearer the time, meanwhile, have a great Summer.
