please find attached your invitation to a special Public Meeting on 26th September from 7-9pm in East Harptree Theatre, Whitecross, BS406AY
We wanted to mark the transition from the close of the Chew Valley Area Forum Climate & Nature Emergency Working Group to the establishment of 2 new groups, which have been incubated over the last 3 years.
This meeting is open to all and will also offer an opportunity to network and make connections with like-minded Valley dwellers who are involved (or want to be involved) with community actions to address the needs of our climate and nature.

Here is how the evening looks in detail
7pm Mingling + soft drinks and biscuits as people arrive
Display of achievements and outputs from the CVAF group
+ tables/ fliers etc from others in the general area of C&NE: Earth Day, Green Homes Open Day, Avon Needs Trees
7.15 Brief presentation highlighting outputs of the CVAF C&NE group
15 minute Mingling activity to talk/put post-it responses to the highlights
7.45 Input from Sustainable Transport Group
including an interactive activity
8.15 Jacky Morgan will deliver a brief statement about the planned Chew Valley Nature Recovery Network, explaining how it has evolved from the Nature Protection Group and intends to work closely with the CV Area Forum and the newly established CV Reconnected Partnership being supported by BANES. The Network is an autonomous group that will be formally launched later this year.
8.20 A discussion between tree planters with Ben Moss from Chew Valley Plants Trees and John Chew from Avon Needs Trees.
