FAO The Clerk: We would be enormously grateful if this message was passed to councillors.
To meet the growing demand to fly to and from our region, and to provide a local alternative to the millions who use London airports every year, it is essential we look to the long-term future now.
We are seeking views on our Master Plan, which provides a longer-term projection of how the Airport will transform itself by 2040. We are also setting out draft proposals for the infrastructure and development necessary to increase passenger numbers from the current limit of 12 million passengers per annum to 15 million.
We will be holding a special consultation event for parish councillors – this is not for members of the public. This will be an opportunity to view the proposals in more detail and meet with some of the project team.
Date: Monday 9th December, 4pm to 7.30pm
Venue: Lulsgate House, Bristol Airport, BS48 3DW
Please confirm attendance by emailing me:
Car parking is available in the private car park, near Lulsgate House, opposite the free waiting zone. Take a ticket on arrival and we will provide you with a free exit ticket.
Our consultation will run from 25 November to 31 January. Our consultation website has detailed information about the proposals and a list of our community events: www.bristolairport.co.uk/future-plans
If any one is unable to share their thoughts online, they can write to us at: Freepost, Bristol Airport Consultation Responses (no stamp required).
Best wishes,
