22.05_1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

TO RESOLVE: To elect a Chairman for the municipal year.
To receive the Chairman’s declaration of acceptance of office

22.05_2. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

TO RESOLVE: To elect a Vice Chairman for the municipal year.
To receive the Vice Chairman’s declaration of acceptance of office

22.05_3. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION

Members of the public are requested to raise any matter during this session as the rest of the meeting is not open to public participation. Members of the public and press may attend the meeting unless the Parish Council by resolution enters a confidential session. Members of the public may make representations, ask and answer questions and give evidence on any matter affecting or of concern, for not more than three minutes by addressing the Chairman.

22.05_4. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

To note and decide on apologies for absence.

22.05_5. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

To consider any requests of dispensations and to receive any declarations of disclosable pecuniary or personal interests in accordance with the PC Code of Conduct and to consider and grant any dispensation requests.

22.05_6. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

TO RESOLVE: That the minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council which took place on Thursday 10th March 2022 are approved as an accurate record and signed by the Chairman.

22.05_9. FINANCE

Note: We currently have a three year long term agreement with Zurich insurance until 31st May 2024. Last year the premium was £422.03.
TO RESOLVE: Delegation to the Clerk for approval to pay the annual insurance premium up to an amount of £600 when this is received.

22.05_10. ANNUAL INTERNAL AUDITORS REPORT

TO RESOLVE: To receive and approve the Annual Internal Auditors Report 2021/22.
TO RESOLVE: Approval of quotation £190 for continued appointment of Internal Auditor for 2022/23 . (See appendix for quotation)

22.05_11. EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE

TO RESOLVE: That the Parish Council, having met all the exemption criteria for 2021/2022 agreed to declare itself exempt from an external audit.
Certificate to be signed by the RFO and Chairman of the meeting where approval was given.

22.05_12. ANNUAL GOVERNANCE STATEMENTS

TO RESOLVE: To approve the Annual Governance Statements 2021/22 prepared by the Clerk (Section 1 on the Annual Return).
