| HOOK LANE, HINTON BLEWETT – TTRN1174 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES In pursuance of Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: |
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 11th October 2023, Hook Lane, Hinton Blewett shall be closed to all traffic, in the interests of public safety, to enable Bristol Water to replace leaking stop tap.
The road will be closed at Hook Lane, Hinton Blewett from a point outside the property known as Shortwood House, but the closure shall not apply to any vehicle associated with the works.
Alternative Route: Hook Lane (remainder) – Litton Lane – Lower Road – Hook Lane – Vice versa
The closure and diversion will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 11th October 2023 and the road closure is anticipated to be required for 3 days. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
