Dear Clerk,
The future of B&NES Rural Areas: have your say
Bath and North East Somerset Council is at the early stage of preparing two key strategies for the district – the Economic Strategy and the new Local Plan. As these will have significant implications for all local communities, we want to work closely with you to understand your views on the key issues facing your area, as well as the priorities for your place. To do this we are inviting you to a workshop about your area on 23rd January 2023. Your input will be vital in shaping plans for the future of your local area.
We will also hold a follow up workshop in June / July 2023 to share evidence we have compiled and to discuss options for the future. Your involvement in these workshops will feed into a formal, District-wide public consultation in autumn next year, relating to which options should be included in the Local Plan.
A representative from your parish is invited to the following workshop:
- Rural Areas Workshop
- Date & Time: 23rd January 2023 at 16:30 – 19:30
- Location: Community Space above Keynsham Library, Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham, BS31 1FS
To confirm attendance, please click on the following link, and fill in the attendance form:
Please note that we had previously advised that there would be space for up to 3 representatives from each parish at the workshops. However, due to venue limitations we can only accommodate one representative from each parish. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this, but it is necessary to get a wide range of stakeholder views.
If you are filling out the attendance form on behalf of somebody else, please include the workshop attendee’s name and email address on the form.
Some parishes may be invited to multiple workshops, due to the sessions being place-based. If this is the case, please feel free to send a representative to multiple sessions, but please note that you will need to fill out a separate attendance form for each workshop.
If you have any queries, please contact Alice Nunn on alice_nunn@bathnes.gov.uk
Regards
