2212_1 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION

Members of the public gave representation regarding planning application reference: 22/04109/FUL Elm Grove Farm.

There were no declarations of disclosable pecuniary or personal interests.

2212_4 CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

RESOLVED: The Parish Council meeting minutes of Thursday 10th November 2022 were confirmed as an accurate record and signed by Chairman.

2212_5 REPORTS

The Clerk reported on a current survey from the Centre for Sustainable Energy regarding possible locations for wind turbines and solar panel farms in Hinton Blewett and Temple Cloud.

Application Reference: 22/04109/FUL – Elm Grove Farm, Lower Road, Hinton Blewett, Bristol, Bath And North East Somerset,
Proposal: Conversion and extension of barn to create 1no. dwelling and replacement of all remaining buildings with 4no. dwellings together with associated hard/soft landscape works; drainage and access improvements.

RESOLVED: The parish council object to planning application 22/04109/FUL. The parish council object on the basis that the planning application is a new build and is no longer covered by class Q renovation of existing buildings. The new build is no longer supported by RE6 of the core strategy and placemaking plan. The new build is outside of the housing boundary for Hinton Blewett and is contrary to the core strategy and placemaking plan and the local partial plan update.

Reviewed: The parish council noted recent comments and documents submitted for planning application reference: 22/04026/FUL – Land To South Of Widcombe Lodge, South Widcombe.
