As a valued partner of the AONB, we would like to invite you to our Annual Forum. On the 26th November we are hosting an event called “Seeing the Mendip Hills Through New Eyes” with BBC presenter Mike Dilger.
We will be hearing from a wide variety of our audiences to learn about their experience of the AONB. The day is aimed at yourselves and other key decision makers for the area. We’ve lined up quite a mix of people to talk around the theme of ‘Seeing the Mendip Hills through New Eyes’; Disabled Ramblers, Community Farming, British Muslim Cultural Society, Sustainable Food production, assistance dogs and access, ‘rewilding’ and reintroductions and a Black and Green Ambassador.
This will also be your chance to see all the data and maps from the new State of the AONB report, including the latest visitor figures for the AONB.
The event is on the 26th November from 1pm – 5pm at the Yeo Valley Canteen, postcode BS40 7YE.
